The NECTA has improved the format of the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).
Standard seven Exams New format; The goal is to improve the structure of the exam to strengthen the competency examination and to ensure that graduates have competence, expertise, and the ability to think critically, analyze things, make decisions, and advise. In addition, enabling them to use the knowledge they get to face economic, social, political and cultural challenges in the world.
The questions have been reduced from 45 to between 6 and 8 questions.
Exam Paper Format: Sections A, B, and C for all papers.
Type of questions: Choose the correct answer; Pairing; Short answers; Arrange words/sentences to make a logical flow; Questions on interpreting pictures, maps, and diagrams; Calculation and Questions of different composition.
The Exam time will remain the same for all subjects. In addition, the overall marks for each subject will not change. So it will be 50 marks.
